KUWAIT: A triple inspection panel from the Iqama affairs, manpower and municipality has issued 13 warnings for illegal construction and overstepping public property. They also confiscated many unused cars and issued 21 citations for residency law violations.

Vice director of municipality for Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Nawaf Al-Kanderi, said: "The municipality's emergency team has launched an inspection campaign in south Khaitan in front of the Amiri airport."

The head of the emergency team, Muhammed Al-Jallawy, said: "The inspections are going on particularly  near Khaitan and Farwaniya areas. There are about seven sites that are going to be inspected during the next days."

"The higher administration of the municipality is reviewing the matter. We are doing our duty by submitting reports on every campaign that includes a detailed explanation about the situation on the ground, especially when there is an insistence on the part of the municipality authorities to report on all violations," he added.

In other related news, six 'Mobile Baqalas' have been removed in residential areas in Ahmadi governorate. This came during an inspection by the general hygiene and public works department at the Ahmadi municipality. Director of the department, Nawaf Al-Mutairi, said "the removal of these mobile baqalas has been done to avoid any traffic obstruction inside residential areas." The public relations department at the municipality urges people to report any violations if they notice to @kuwmun along with a photograph.
