16.5 kg shabu hidden in fish shipment

KUWAIT: Air customs officers confiscated 16.5 kilograms of shabu (methamphetamine) that were hidden in a fish shipment coming from Iran, the Kuwait General Administration of Customs said yesterday.

One suspect was arrested in coordination with the interior ministry on charges of attempting to smuggle the drugs, the customs department explained.
