KUWAIT: The General Authority for Applied Education and Training has announced the admission of 16,945 male and female high school diploma holders who will enroll in the first and second semesters of the academic and training year (2023-2024). The director general of the Authority, Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam, said in a press statement that the admission results have been approved in the colleges, institutes, and training colleges.

The dean of admission and registration at the Authority, Dr. Fawzi Al-Dukhi, said in a similar statement that all those who met the conditions for all categories were accepted according to the approved basic admission plan and in accordance with the approved regulations in the first and second chapters, adding that "applicants for the minister’s and director general’s grants, government grants, and embassies will be announced later".

He reported that the accepted students were distributed according to the approved budget, the minimum acceptance rates, and the order of wishes for the specialties of the commission’s faculties, institutes, and training colleges. He added that passing the interview is a prerequisite for the approval of admission to the College of Basic Education. The interviews will be held on September 17–18 at the college’s headquarters in Ardiya, as well as at the College of Health Sciences and the College of Nursing in Shuwaikh.

He explained that the English language level test will be held for those admitted to all colleges at the headquarters of the College of Business Studies for boys and girls in the Al-Ardiya area between September 17 and 19, except for those admitted to the College of Nursing, whose test will be held at the college’s headquarters in Shuwaikh on September 17th.

He invited those admitted to log in to the Authority’s website, www.paaet.edu.kw, to find out all the important dates for their admission and registration of their study schedules, as well as follow the official accounts of the Authority on social media platforms to find out all the important instructions and dates first. It is noteworthy that each student can find out the accepted specialty through the application link on the authority’s website or through the unified government application for electronic services (Sahel). - KUNA
