KUWAIT: Seventeen boys were injured yesterday when their private school bus turned over along Jahra Road while heading to school in the early hours of the morning. Nine ambulances were dispatched to the scene and the injured students were rushed to Jahra Hospital for treatment, said Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Services Affairs at the Ministry of Health Jamal Al-Harbi in a statement.

Security sources said that nine of the schoolboys suffered mild injuries, four were hospitalized for further treatment, while four others were treated and discharged. Hospital staff are dealing with these cases with utmost priority, considering the injured students' ages range between eight and 11. Officials later said 12 out of the 17 students were discharged.
