KUWAIT: Meteorologist Essa Ramadan said that a gradual rise in temperature is expected over the coming days with the approach of spring, with temperatures between 18 and 27 degrees centigrade.

Hospital's parking

Head of the Hawally committee at the municipal council Yousef Al-Ghareeb said that the committee approved during its meeting yesterday a request to build a multi-storey parking building outside Mubarak Hospital's casualty department. Ghareeb also said that a request by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to allocate two land plots to build a bank in Siddiq has been approved.

Sewage water

The environmental affairs committee at the Municipal Council postponed discussing a proposal by former council member Mona Boresli on suspending allocating sites to dump treated sewage water into the sea until further notice from the Environment Public Authority (EPA) and Public Authority of Industry (PAI). In this regard, committee chairman Mane Al-Ajmi said many government bodies attended a meeting yesterday to discuss the problem created by dumping Ghazali sewage line waste into the sea and the damage this has done to both seawater and marine life.
