KUWAIT: The Central Apparatus for Illegal Residents announced yesterday the issuance of 19,143 new follow-up cards for illegal residents during the first three months of 2016. Director of Card Management in the apparatus Tariq Mohammed Al-Buaijan said that the card is dispensed within a few days from the date of submitting the application.

He added that the apparatus issued in the same period 640 ‘To Whom It May Concern’ certificates for the various state institutions, stressing keenness of the apparatus in speeding up issuance of these certificates and deliver them to the applicant by hand in the following day.

He pointed out that the cards administration conducted 586 criminal imprints during the same period through the automated fingerprinting system, explaining that the application of this system helped save time and effort on the central apparatus. —KUNA
