KUWAIT: The 19th Kuwait International Juniors (J4 ALZAHRA) tournament was concluded at the tennis courts of Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdallah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah International Tennis Complex with the participation of 18 girls from 12 countries and 38 boys from 20 countries. The tournament was under the patronage of President of Kuwait and Arab Federation who was present at the closing ceremony that was held Sunday.

The men's singles final match was won by Theo Herrmann (from France) while Kyvan Rietkerk (from the Netherland) took the second position. In the Juniors doubles, Mohammad Al-Kotob (from Jordan) and his partner Tiago Boschmans (from Portugal) won first place, while Theo Herrmann and his partner Hugo Soares (France) won the second place. In the girls singles, Lea Bathelier (from France) won first place while her compatriot A Charrier grabbed the second place.

In the Junior girls doubles, Lea Bathelier and A Charrier won the first place. Renata Garaeva (from Russia) and Andra Izabella Sirbu (from Romania) booked second. This tournament is part of four international tournaments for juniors organized by Kuwait Tennis Federation under the supervision of International Tennis Federation and will continue until the end of the week. Players from various countries are participating with the hope of ranking points from ITF.
