KUWAIT: A citizen told Sabah Al-Salem police that a bank stole KD 500 from her. She said she inserted the ATM card in the machine to withdraw KD 500, but the card was returned without the money, then she received a SMS stating that KD 500 was debited from her account. She said bank officials insisted that I received the money, though this was not true.

Meanwhile, a Cambodian man filed a report a Jabriya police station regarding a faulty ATM machine and unfair charges from his bank. The man said he withdrew KD 1,100 from a bank's ATM but when he went to take the money, the machine pulled it back inside. The man went to the bank to complain and was told he would have to pay KD 50 to investigate and receive his money. He said this request is not justified because he did not make a mistake that warrants paying this money.
