KUWAIT: A Sri Lankan woman tried to put an end to her life by ingesting medical products at her employer's Rabiya house. A security source said the woman was rushed to hospital unconscious by her sponsor, who told them he found empty medicine bottles when she seems to have taken. Doctors performed a gastric lavage and admitted her to hospital. Police are investigating.

Deportation

Director of Jahra detectives Colonel Salem Mardhi recommended the deportation of an Egyptian man in a report he sent to the Director of the General Criminal Detectives Department Major General Mahmoud Al-Tabbakh for public interest. A security source said a Moroccan woman told Jahra police that she noticed a man always on the roof a building opposite to the one she stays in, adding he may be taking pictures. Jahra detectives were informed and he was arrested, and then when his phone was checked, a huge amount of women's pictures in various places and from under the stairs were taken.

Search for harasser

An Iraqi woman press charges against a Palestinian man, saying that he disturbed her with messages after she visited a bookstore he works in. A security source said the woman told Salmiya police she went to a bookstore for some work and left her phone number on the invoice to be called when the job is complete. But at midnight, she was surprised by the man sending her a message of admiration. The source said that she told the man to stop bothering her but he did not stop and kept sending messages.
