KUWAIT: The Relations and Security Information Department at the Interior Ministry said residency detectives busted an Ethiopian gang of 28 persons running a bogus domestic help office. The department received tips about their activities of harboring absconding domestic helpers and making them work elsewhere. It said that the gang incited helpers to escape from their sponsors, then employed them with others. All those arrested were found reported absconding and were sent to concerned authorities.

Dead woman

A woman was found dead outside a building under construction in Jaber Al-Ahmad yesterday. Paramedics and police rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call reporting that a dead body was found wrapped in a blanket. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, and the body was then taken to the coroner. An investigation was opened to identify the woman and reveal the circumstances behind her death.
