KUWAIT: Well-informed security source said that a number of Lebanese who are reportedly affiliated to Hezbollah had been notified to leave Kuwait.
The sources added that deportees include an executive secretary working for a company owned by a former minister in addition to two others working in a company owned by two current MPs. The sources noted that the three had been summoned, their residency visa cancelled and told to leave within a fortnight.
Further, the sources highlighted that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah would reject any pleas or interference to keep any expat who is affiliated to Hezbollah in Kuwait because Kuwait security was a ‘Red Line’. — Al-Qabas
