78 shooters to partake in shooting tourney

KUWAIT: The Sporting Shooting Tournament, organized by Bayan Shooting Club started yesterday (Thursday) at the Equestrian and Hunting Club in Sabhan with 78 shooters participating. Bayan Shooting Club Chairman of the Board Sheikh Sabah Ali Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said the club is used to organize such a tournament each Ramadan and the numbers of participants is on the rise each year.

Sheikh Sabah lauded the technical level of the shooters and competitions continue all the way to the final rounds, adding the club prepares all that is required prior to the start of competitions to create a suitable environment for shooters to perform at their best. He said Kuwait produces outstanding shooters and this reflected positively on the national teams during international tournaments and wished shooters success.
