KUWAIT: The number of government and private bodies' orders listed on the municipal council's scheduled agenda has reached more than 85 percent, said Director General of Kuwait's Municipality Yosif Al-Saqoubi yesterday.

Saqoubi explained that the assigned committee in charge of monitoring the council's work, agreed during its third meeting last night, led by Mohammad Bu-Shehri, on a project designed and supervised by Ahmadi municipality's branch. The committee also approved allocation of a headquarters for the GCC Joint Production Institution in Salmiya, Al-Saqoubi added.

Saqoubi said the council also approved a request by the ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to allocate a land for the construction of a building to host various social ceremonies like weddings, in any of the areas in Jahra governorate. - KUNA
