'Race to victory, raise the bar'

KUWAIT: "Race to Victory - Raise the Bar" was the slogan raised in the Nissan Showroom on the Oct 15, 2016 at the annual Nissan Sales skills contest. Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Babtain Co, the authorized agent of Nissan in the State of Kuwait, organized the contest to select their best Nissan salesman to represent Nissan Kuwait at the regional contests in Dubai.

The Nissan skills contest is a venue for the best Sales executives to showcase their talents and hone their selling skills.

Managers and senior supervisors from across Al-Babtain Group acted as customers and judges in four rounds of the contest. The occasion was attended by Al-Babtain Chief Operating Officer Mohammad Shalaby; Group GM HR & Administration,  Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain; as well as senior management members and other staff. Representing Nissan Gulf was Fatma Zenagui, DGM Training & Dealer Network Development who distributed mementos to top three winners.

Mohammed Shalaby, Chief Operating Officer - Al-Babtain Group opened the event with an inspirational speech expressing that "At Al Babtain are extremely proud of the winners' efforts, dedication and skills during this competition, last year was a great success."

Furthermore, Mohammed Shalaby added, "The contest is not just to choose a champion only, it is a way to show the advancement of their skills and an acknowledgment of their hard work. Keeping knowledge and skills up to date is an essential element to deliver high quality service that meets the expectations of customers and safeguards the reputation of our organization. Nissan Al Babtain owes its success on quality customer service and a dedicated workforce.

Group GM HR & Administration, Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain said "The Nissan Sales skills contest offers the Sales Executives a venue to showcase their talents and get recognized for their contributions to the organization. It also puts into perspective their proficiency and standards, highlighting areas which need improvement. Al-Babtain is committed to continuous staff training and development programs that increase the service reliability and competency of its workforce."

Following extensive screening processes amongst the dealership's sales executives over two months, top nine sales executives were chosen to compete amongst each other in this year's national contest to decide the champion for the regional contests in Dubai which is scheduled in February 2017. The winner of the regional contest stands a chance to win valuable cash prize and receive a gold medal from Nissan Middle East. Last year, Mohamed Samir of Nissan Al-Babtain won the first place and got the champion title; making this year's contest more competitive.

Kuwait champion for this year Nisan Sales Skills Contest is  Mohammed Fathy taking home the gold medal and Wael Abu Doleh came in second with the silver medal. The third place was a tie shared by Mohamed Ali Al Sabbah and Rami Saleh Osman. Fathy will now undergo extensive and rigorous training to prepare him for the regional finals where Al-Babtain hopes to repeat its success story.
