Ramadan Football Tournament

KUWAIT: Kuwait International Bank’s football team is accomplishing one win after another in the late Abdullah Mishari Al-Roudan’s Ramadan indoor football tournament. In addition to its participation in this tournament that enjoys an outstanding response for many years, Al-Dawli is also the silver sponsor of this event driven by its social commitment towards the society and aim to support all types of initiatives that target all segments, be it humanitarian, sports, cultural and many more.

Commenting on the successive victory, the Head of Corporate Communications at KIB, Nawaf Najia, expressed his delight in the triumph achieved by Al-Dawli’s team that has the best Kuwaiti and international professional players.

He added that the bank’s team is taking steady steps towards the finals after their big win against professional teams like Atom Sporting scoring 4/1, Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad (6/1) and Ministry of Defense (3/0). Najia stated, “We are confident that our team will reach the final match and with the blessings of Allah, our skilled and well-prepared team will win the cup, as they have shown great capabilities and athletic skills so far.” He also thanked the organizers’ great efforts and key role in encouraging all society segments to exercise more for a healthier lifestyle.

He concluded by saying that Al-Dawli’s participation in this significant sports event is driven from its constant strive to interact with the youth and support their various initiatives, especially sports that boost their intellectual and physical activity enabling them to enhance their skills at all levels.
