KUWAIT: National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem said he will remain the representative of people’s will and steadfast in the defense of Kuwait’s security and stability. Ghanem thanked all those who attended the ghabqa he held at Ali Al-Ghanem diwan in Abdullah Al-Salem. “I cannot express my feelings and gratitude for the generosity Kuwait’s people have afforded me on every occasion,” he said.
Ghanem said “the matter is not about who issues invitations, as all had issued invitations, but the matter is in who responds”, pointing to the citizens who answered his invitation from the entire spectrum of locations, to a point where the area was closed.
The Diwan of Ali Al-Ghanem Sons was overcrowded with well-wishers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, led by Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammad Al-Saqer, National Assembly members, diplomats, athletes and citizens.
