KUWAIT: For the second consecutive year, Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi won the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League Championship as he won the championship last year. Al-Kharafi, at the end of the eighth round was first with 199 points; Abdelrahman Al-Fuzaie took second with 165 points, while Ghazi Al-Juraiwi grabbed 111 points. In the Grand Prize round (145cm height), Ali Al-Kharafi took the first place in 79.36 seconds without faults.

He was the only rider to win without faults. He was followed by Abdelrahman Al-Fuzaie, Enaz Al-Enaz. Chairman of the Board of Kuwait Equestrian Federation Masoud Hayat and Chief of Corporate communications and relations at Zain Waleed Al-Khashti and other dignitaries awarded the winners. Rider Ali Al-Kharafi was pleased with the title.

“I was successful in five rounds out of eight - which enabled me to win for the second year in a row despite very strong competition from riders of both genders”. He thanked his father and uncles for supporting him along with the Kuwait Riding Center administration. Meanwhile, Masoud Hayat said Kuwait Equestrian Federation succeeded in organizing the second league championship with the support of the Public Authority for Sport and private sector entities.

Chief of Corporate communications and relations at Zain Waleed Al-Khashti said “we were honored to be sponsors of Kuwait Equestrian Federation League for the second consecutive year and there is an improvement as the number of participants increased”.
