KUWAIT: The board of directors of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare decided that it is necessary for the authority's officials to hand over their vehicles by October as instructed by the Cabinet to rationalize spending. The board approved payments of financial incentives in exchange of the vehicles of KD 150 per month to department directors, which goes up as the rank gets higher. The authority's official spokesman Ibrahim Al-Nashi said it is keen on providing housing care to Kuwaiti families according to the law. Nashi denied rumors on social media that the authority struck out several housing requests of applicants for refusing to bring exit and entry records and certificates of their children, saying that such information is inaccurate.
