CAIRO: Kuwait Ambassador to Egypt Ghanem Al-Ghanem said Monday his country is eager to partake in international and regional exhibitions to share expertise and highlight the country's products. This came in a statement by Ghanem to KUNA on the sidelines of the international exhibition for food and beverages Food Africa 2022, inaugurated by Egypt's Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Al-Mosehli and Minister of Industry and Trade Ahmad Samir.

Ghanem voiced pride for Kuwait's companies and products at the exhibition, commending the efforts made by the Public Authority for Industry (PAI) to facilitate all procedures, remove all obstacles facing these companies and encourage them to market their products in other markets outside Kuwait. He said Kuwait's products are reputable due to their high quality and this is shown by the large number of visitors to Kuwait's pavilion. He affirmed that the relations between Egypt and Kuwait are historical and deep-rooted at the official and popular levels, hoping for further development of ties in the future.

Lina Al-Mousa, head of PAI's exhibitions and promotional activities department, said in a statement to KUNA that the authority organized, prepared and equipped Kuwait's pavilion at the exhibition on an area of 192 sq m to display various Kuwaiti products. She elaborated that the Kuwaiti pavilion includes a variety of food industries like dates, honey, dairy and its derivatives, pastries, snacks, frozen fish, healthy packaging materials and others.

PAI is keen on backing Kuwait's companies to show their products at regional and international exhibitions, she said. The Kuwaiti pavilion includes 10 including Kuwaiti Danish Dairy Company, Kuwait Industrial Food Company, Kuwait Flour Mills & Bakeries Company and others. The exhibition features more than 700 companies from 32 countries and more than 500 international buyers from all over the world. - KUNA
