His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah

KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent on Friday a cable of thanks to National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem. His Highness expressed his utmost gratitude and appreciation to the Parliament Speaker and fellow MPs for their cooperation and interaction with aftermath of the stormy weather that hit the country recently. His Highness the Amir also sent cables of thanks and appreciation to the Chief of Kuwait National Guard His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah and KNG's Deputy Chief Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

 

His Highness also sent similar cables to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Hussam Al-Roumi, Health Minister Sheikh Dr Bassel Al-Sabah, Information Minister and State Minister for Youth Mohammad Al-Jabri, Minister of State for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Services Jenan Boushehri, and Oil Minister and Minister of Electricity and Water Bakheet Al-Rasheedi.

 

His Highness also sent thanks and appreciation cables to the Director-General of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Mekrad and the Director-General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmad Al-Manfouhi.

 

His Highness the Amir reiterated his utmost gratitude and appreciation to the top state officials and fellow employees for all their efforts in dealing with the aftermath of heavy rainfall and storms that swept across Kuwait and the region. He also thanked them for their keenness on preserving public and private properties. His Highness valued such efforts and coordination between various state bodies, pointing out their significant role, dedication, and devotion in working around the clock in light of severe weather conditions.

 

Furthermore, His Highness the Amir reiterated his thanks and gratitude to fellow citizens for their cooperation with government bodies and public teams, and said the Kuwaiti people embodied the spirit of cooperation and unity, for which they are known in hard times and good ones. Moreover, His Highness also expressed his utmost thanks and appreciation to Arab states for their good sentiments with Kuwait in facing the inclement weather, and for their brotherly initiatives to provide aid and support to overcome the difficult circumstances. His Highness the Amir prayed to Allah Almighty to protect Kuwait from all harms and perpetuate the grace of security, safety, and prosperity.

 

Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday cabled Speaker Ghanem, expressing deep appreciation for MPs' positive interaction with repercussions of the recent weather conditions. His Highness the Crown Prince also addressed cables of appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad and His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak. The cables were also sent to ministers Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah, Saleh, Roumi, Dr Bassel Al-Sabah, Jabri, Boushehri and Rahseedi. His Highness also thanked Lt Gen Mekrad and Manfouhi.

 

In these cables, His Highness the Crown Prince expressed deep appreciation of the great efforts, exerted by the officials to cope with outcome of the rainfalls for sake of safeguarding citizens and residents. Furthermore, he thanked the citizens for their fruitful cooperation with the authorities that were involved in facing the deluge. He prayed to His Almighty Allah to safeguard dear Kuwait and enable it to attain further progress and prosperity under leadership of His Highness the Amir, the Leader of Humanitarian Action, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. - KUNA
