KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace yesterday Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Minister of State for Municipality Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri, and visiting head of the Iraqi jurisprudence authority for senior scholars, Ahmad Hassan Taha.

His Highness the Amir also received Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on the occasion of winning France's highest medal, the knights of the Legion of Honor. Earlier yesterday, His Highness the Amir received the Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met yesterday Falah Eid bin Jamea at Bayan Palace.  His Highness the Crown Prince also received Bandar Al-Duwaish. In addition, His Highness the Crown Prince received Chairman of the National Security Apparatus (NSA) Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. His Highness also met with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, as well as Sheikh Mubarak

Earlier yesterday, His Highness the Crown Prince received at Bayan Palace Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan, Ministry of State for Youth Affairs Undersecretary Al-Zain Sabah

Al-Naser Al-Sabah and a number of Ministry of State for Youth Affairs officials.

During the meeting, they presented to His Highness the Crown Prince a souvenir on the occasion of Kuwait winning Youth Excellence and Creativity Award, and choosing Kuwait 'Capital of Arab Youth 2017.' His Highness Sheikh Nawaf hailed the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs for encouraging youth creativity and promoting Arab identity. His Highness said these efforts would achieve sustainable development in all fields. The meeting was attended by Head of His Highness the Crown Prince's Protocols Sheikh Mubarak Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah.

In other news, His Highness the Amir sent a congratulatory cable to Lulwa Saleh Al-Mulla on the occasion of having been conferred a French order of civilian distinction.  This honoring came in recognition of her contributions to social and women's issues and human rights. His Highness also sent a similar cable to Aisha Mishari Al-Fares on the occasion of her honoring by receiving the National Order of Merit with the rank of Knight from the French Republic in recognition of her contributions to enhancing ties  between Kuwait and France in the cultural and social fields. His Highness the Amir praised this honoring, and wished her everlasting progress and success. Mulla and Fares received similar cables from His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. - KUNA
