Amir patronizes national operetta

KUWAIT: Under the patronage and attendance of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, a national operetta was held yesterday at Bayan Palace's theater. Also, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem, Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and other state officials attended the event. The operetta kicked off with the national anthem, to which students from various schools then proceeded to unveil assorted portraits depicting nationalistic themes. His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince were presented with a souvenir. - KUNA
