KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi at Bayan Palace yesterday, with the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. President Sisi and his accompanying delegation held official talks with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and senior Kuwaiti officials. The two sides discussed boosting bilateral ties and cooperation on all levels and developing joint-Arab work, said Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah in a statement.  Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Sabah held a luncheon in honor of the Egyptian President.

Sisi and his delegation arrived in Kuwait yesterday on an official two-day visit. He was received at the airport by His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anas Al-Saleh, Minister for Cabinet Affairs and acting Information Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, senior officials at the Army, Police, National Guard and Fire Service Directorate.

The mission of honor that accompanies the visiting president is headed by Advisor at the Amiri Diwan Mohammed Daifallah Sharar. President Sisi was accompanied by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and a number of officials. - KUNA
