His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah rushed to the Al-Sadeq mosque shortly after the largest explosion Kuwait has ever witnessed took place and never hesitated to inspect the site while it was still on fire, and while his tears fell on saying: "Those are my children!"

The Saudi monarch, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz went around the Kaaba with all pilgrims coming from all Muslim countries. He did not carry his crown along but rather seemed like every other Muslim. King Abdullah II of Jordan visited a poor family in one of the villages and sat with its members on the ground while inquiring about the family's needs. UAE's Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan visited a military hospital where he kissed the hands of an injured soldier.

The aforementioned examples are four so humane incidents that took place in four Arab countries with hereditary rule. I started with these examples as an introduction to my comments on what the famous Egyptian movie star Hussein Fahmy said on praising 'hereditary rule' on a TV interview where the interviewer so idiotically provoked him by saying: "How can you praise hereditary rule while all countries are seeking freedom and independence?"

Fahmy's shocking answer came so objectively and calmly as he is used to and he started telling her some stories about Egypt's history under monarchy. He totally rejected her argument and exclaimed of linking hereditary rule with the state of not being free or independent!

Unfortunately, Arab TV shows are full of such idiot interviewers and she is the perfect example of idle Arab minds loaded with ignorance, superstition, subordination and a myth that argues that dictator republican regimes are far much better than stable hereditary ones. Such ideas had been implanted in minds by dishonest, hollow hypocritical media used to describing leaders as semi-gods and slandering serene wise and stable regimes that have inherited and practiced governance through several generations and, at the same time, are so harmonious with their subjects.

We would have believed such idiotic claims about justice, integrity and fairness of republican regimes if they were still to be born. But to argue that republican regimes are so 'utopian' when we have already experienced how tyrants like Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, Bashar Al-Assad and Ali Abdullah Saleh ruled their subjects and destroyed their own countries means that people who believe so are insane and, unfortunately, so many Arabs are!
