KUWAIT: An Arab expat was arrested for multiple fraud cases, said security sources, adding that the suspect had collected money from his victims claiming to give them 200 percent profits.

'Mental case'

A citizen called the police requesting help in controlling his son who became hysterical and started damaging the furniture and attacking his siblings. The man was controlled and referred to the mental diseases hospital.

Kuwaiti suspects arrested

Two citizens were arrested and a third managed to escape after the three obstructed police work. Security sources said they prevented a policeman from arresting a friend of theirs and helped him evade arrest. Meanwhile, a wanted Kuwaiti was arrested while jogging in Mangaf, said security sources. Also, a Kuwaiti and a Saudi were arrested with meth in Jahra industrial area.

Reckless driving

A citizen was arrested for reckless driving, endangering his and others' lives in Um Al-Haiman. Security sources said the suspect resisted arrest and damaged two police patrol cars before he was brought under control. The suspect is facing up to 10 charges.

Daughter flees

An Egyptian in Abu Halifa reported that his 19-year-old daughter fled the house after some family problems and being grounded in her room.

Identity theft

An Indian reported that someone had used his identity to purchase mobile lines and phones, and that a local telecom's legal representative called him in this regard. In another development, an Indian woman reported that unidentified robbers stopped her young son, threatened him with a screwdriver and stole his mobile phone.

KD 1,900 stolen

A citizen reported that an unidentified robber broke into his vehicle while it was parked outside his house in Mubarak Al-Kabeer and stole KD 1,900 in cash from it.

Sexual abuse case

A Filipina waitress working in a Salmiya restaurant filed a sexual abuse case against one of the restaurant's customers, who fled the scene when she screamed.

'Heavily drunk' women

Two women (a citizen and an Iraqi) were arrested heavily drunk in Rumaithiya, said security sources, noting that on checking on the Iraqi woman, she was found wanted for KD 13,000 in financial claims. Separately, a citizen was arrested for drinking and waiting outside a ladies beauty salon, said security sources, noting that the salon owner called the police. The man said that he was waiting for someone he loved to leave the salon.

Unidentified robbers

A citizen reported that unidentified robbers had broken into his Hawally apartment and stolen KD 500 in cash, in addition to a hard disk worth KD 500. Meanwhile, a citizen in his thirties informed Qairawan police that two unidentified persons (one in an army military uniform and another in a high school uniform) deliberately hit his vehicle and assaulted him. A case was filed and further investigations are in progress.

Doctor files a complaint

A doctor filed a complaint at Jabriya police station accusing a citizen of insulting him while on duty, said security sources. - Al-Rai and Al-Anbaa
