KUWAIT: In line with Ahli United Bank's (AUB) strategy of developing its digital capabilities, the Bank announced that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Automated Services Network Company (eNet) which will allow the Bank to expand its scope of electronic banking services with quick payment solutions to all telecommunications companies in Kuwait, as well as a selective number of carriers abroad.

The agreement will also allow customers to pay their financing installments with companies, school tuition fees as well as purchase online shopping cards while receiving a host of entertainment services through subscribing to various television channels, entertainment packages, and electronic payment channels along with purchasing an extensive range of online games. The agreement enables customers to access electronic payment Solutions available on the Bank's website or through the Bank's mobile banking application

Commenting on the new agreement, Tareq Muhmood, AUB's Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer said, "This is all about providing our customers with more choice on how they handle their financial affairs. We are committed to deliver better and enhanced services to our customers, as we always strive to facilitate their banking transactions with comfort and ease. Therefore, we have signed this agreement with eNet, which is the first company of its kind in Kuwait to provide automated payment services that include the payment of invoices to all major telecommunications companies operating in Kuwait.

Moreover, Huda Al-Madani, AUB's Alternative Distribution Channels said, "We believe customers will be delighted with the ease of use and the convenience of this new service. The new service with eNet offers a wide range of special services that represent added value and a qualitative leap in the level of our services which aim to provide the best means of secure and easy payment methods anywhere and anytime.
