Audi-quattro-Cup-tournamentKUWAIT: Hosted by Audi Kuwait and represented by Fouad Alghanim and Sons Automotive Company, the 8th Audi quattro Cup golf tournament ended in style - attracting Audi and Golf enthusiasts from Kuwait and across the world. The Audi quattro Cup - amateur golf calendar's most celebrated tournament was held at Sahara Kuwait Golf Resort. The tournament finished on an exciting note with Deepak Malhotra and Manoj Jolly finishing in the first place. They now qualify for the world final to be held in Barcelona, Spain on October 6th.

Cesar Gonzalez-Bueno and Vikram Issar took the second place, while third spot went to Simon Davidson and Dave Ludkin. The 'Longest Drive' prize of the tournament went to Ahmed Deghedi for a splendid effort. In the 'Closest to the Pin' category, Kim Young Shi (Women) and Ali Al Ansari (Men) were declared winners. "We are absolutely thrilled with the level of entries and standard of performances this year. The Audi quattro Cup Golf Tournament Series was established in 1991 and celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2016. Last year, around 100,000 players took part in 54 countries worldwide, with more than 800 tournaments at play. More than 1.4 million golfers have taken part in an Audi quattro Cup tournament during the last 25 years.
