Bahrain FM, GCC chief discuss joint action

MANAMA: Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani meets Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Nayef Al-Hajraf. - KUNA

MANAMA: Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani yesterday discussed means of boosting efforts to back the joint Gulf action with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Nayef Al-Hajraf. Zayani held a meeting with Hajraf to focus on methods of bolstering cooperation amongst member states for further cohesion and solidarity, Bahrain Foreign Ministry said in a press statement.

The two sides also concentrated on backing the Gulf path to translate GCC leaders' visions and meet aspirations of the region's peoples, it added. The statement pointed to the Secretariat's efforts aiming to push ahead the path of economic integration in favor of GCC peoples to achieve directives of their leaders. - KUNA
