Banks on holiday tomorrow marking the birth of the Prophet Mohammad

KUWAIT: Chairman of the Union of Kuwaiti Banks Dr Hamad Al-Hasawi said yesterday that all local banks would stopped operating tomorrow in observance of a religious holiday marking the birth of the Prophet Mohammad. Banks will resume work next Sunday as approved by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), he added. The Banks Union congratulated the political leadership and the Kuwaiti people on the advent of this occasion. - KUNA
