Behbehani congratulates Kuwait’s disabled athletes

KUWAIT: Iqbal Behbehani visited Kuwait Disabled Sports Club and met Club President Shafi Al-Hajiri and several members of the board. Behbehani honored and rewarded several athletes who reached tremendous heights during the paralympic in Brazil.

They included Ahmad Neqa who won the 100m wheelchairrace Hamad Al- Adwani, Nasser Al-Saleh, Abdallah Al- Saif, Mohammad Mijbel, Atef Al- Dousary and Al-Khaldi who won a junior’s bronze medal. Behbehani lauded the efforts of the club’s athletes and urged them to continue their winning ways. She also appreciated the role of the club’s board under the chairmanship of Shafi Al-Hajiri.
