KUWAIT: Trading at Boursa Kuwait ended yesterday's trading in the red zone with the benchmark down by 6.29 points to settle at 6,725.78 points.  The weighted index went down by 1.49 points to stand at 403.64, whereas the KSX 15 index shed 6.45 points to read at 919.44 points. The value of shares was at KD 14,387,979.653 with the volume of 155,855,646 shares done through 3,882 deals.

Meanwhile the price of Kuwaiti oil was down 42 cents to 48.36 per barrel on Wednesday after being at USD 48.78 pb last Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) yesterday. In global markets, the prices were stable at the highest levels in two weeks on the backdrop of declining US crude reserve for the sixth consecutive week. Elsewhere, the price of Brent crude was up 56 cents to USD 52.21 pb. - KUNA
