British Ambassador congratulates Amir on coronation anniversary

KUWAIT: The United Kingdom's Ambassador to Kuwait Belinda Lewis released the following statement on the occasion of the first anniversary of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah's assumption of office:

"I would like to send my warmest congratulations to HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the first anniversary of his coronation. It was a pleasure to meet His Highness the Amir when I submitted my credentials in May. Kuwait, under the leadership of HH the Amir, is a strong and important ally for the UK and I look forward to strengthen further this relationship between our two countries."
