KUWAIT: In an effort to present the latest trends in the internal audit field, Burgan Bank recently hosted the 'Second Internal Audit Conference for Banking Industry in Kuwait', which was held on 19th October 2015 at the Sheraton Kuwait Hotel. The conference was attended by the Chief Internal Auditors from local and foreign banks and involved keynote speeches and discussions around the recent trends and emerging topics of internal audit.

The event gathered a number of experts and representatives from international audit firms, namely; Protivity, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PWC and Deloitte, who took part in the discussion panels by presenting their perspective on the emerging internal audit trends and best practices.

In April 2013, Burgan Bank hosted the First Internal Audit Conference, inviting prominent financial experts, internal audit representatives from local and foreign banks as well as international audit firms to share their insights and address the recent changes in the internal audit divisions.
