Competing in several competitions this year, Al Qallaf is now poised to represent Kuwait at the Arnold Fencing Classic, a part of the Arnold Sports Festival which is the largest multi-sport festival in the world.

Held for 3 days, the prestigious Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival will be featuring over 50 sports and events with an expected 180,000 spectators, and 19,000 athletes. Considered a unique event with medals unlike other contests in the world of fencing, 2018 brings the return of Wheelchair fencing to the Arnold Fencing Classic.
