KUWAIT: The technical committee of the Municipal Council postponed discussion of a proposal by councilman Humoud Al-Enezi on burying expats according to their address in the civil ID until the next meeting, when the funerals department will be invited. Director of the department Dr Faisal Al-Awadi said Municipality had approved the proposal, and cemeteries will be divided as follows: Deceased expats who resided in Capital governorate will be buried in Sulaibkhat cemetery; those from Hawally, Farwaniya and Jahra governorates in Jahra; and those from Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Ahmadi governorates in Subhan. Enezi said the percentage of expats buried in Sulaibkhat varies between 40 to 50 percent. - Al-Rai
