The National Assembly.

KUWAIT: The
parliament's secretary MP Oudah Al-Rowaei said that the parliament will have a
busy schedule after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, adding that various parliamentary
committees will have to review 80-100 reports to list them on the agenda before
concluding the third term. Rowaei expressed hope that in order to make up for
the time lost during Ramadan and in grillings, enough time will be given to
study various bills instead of going through them all in one session. He added
that as head of the educational affairs committee, the committee will discuss
various issues including degrees, impersonation, government universities and
amending the audiovisual law, finalizing them during the first week after the
Eid break.

Nurseries'
transfer

The Cabinet
annulled its previous decision to transfer the nurseries department from the
Ministry of Social Affairs to the Ministry of Education, said informed sources,
noting that the Cabinet's assistant secretary general for preparation and
follow up Fawwaz Al-Fadhl sent letters in this regard to Education Minister
Hamed Al-Azmi. Fadhl explained that the education ministry had opposed the
transfer on grounds that nurseries have a special nature and role, taking into
consideration that learners are usually under four years of age.

Municipality Director Ahmad Al-Manfouhi instructed various municipal offices in
