KUWAIT: The Cabinet discussed during an extraordinary meeting on Wednesday the events that took place in the National Assembly's session on Tuesday including the relevant committees' reports on the agenda, it said in a statement. The Cabinet was not given the chance during said committees' meetings to provide its full remarks on the topics of discussion and give its opinions from the constitutional and financial standpoints. The Cabinet had therefore requested the parliament to return those reports to the relevant committees in order to achieve the goals included in its work program, it explained. Since this never happened, the Cabinet had no choice but to leave Tuesday's session, be absent from Wednesday's session and then hold an extraordinary meeting to discuss their next step, it concluded.
