KUWAIT: Police received tips about an elderly Egyptian stealing copper cables, so detectives placed him under surveillance. He was caught trying to steal a cable from a government facility in Farwaniya and sent to concerned authorities. In another development, a citizen told Sulaibiya police that an Indian stole solar power equipment including 9 regulators, boards 10 batteries and four cartons of solar power batteries. The incident took place in Amghara and the suspect is being sought.

Woman attempts suicide

A Jordanian woman threatened to attempt suicide near Kuwait airport, prompting police and paramedics to rush to the scene.
