KUWAIT:Two staff in a Jahra cafe exchanged blows following a short argument over the work. A security source said a customer went to the café and asked for some drinks, then when his order was delayed he became angry and started shouting at the staff. This led to one of the Egyptian waiters to accuse his colleague of failing to do his job properly. Then the argument evolved into a fist fight. When their colleagues failed to control the two men, police were called and came to arrest both of the waiters. Investigations are underway.

Car broken into

A citizen in Sabahiya told police that his car was broken into when it was parked in front of his house and KD 920 was stolen from it. Criminal evidence went to the scene and lifted fingerprints, as detectives are working on the case.

Car stolen by fake detectives

An Asian man told Ardhiya police that two unknown persons claiming to be detectives, asked him to stay away from his car, as they wanted to search it for drugs, then one of them drove off while the other followed him in their car.

Woman accuses brother of sorcery

A citizen said that her house had been subject to sorcery by her brother and his friend. She said that there are disputes over inheritance and the house after the death of the father, and that the brother wants her to leave the house. - Al-Rai

KD 1.2 million in electricity bills

Ministry of Electricity and Water inspectors with judicial power uncovered a citizen's manipulation of water lines connected to six of his buildings in Farwaniya in a bid to reduce the bills. Sources said the citizen aimed at reducing the value of the bill by having one meter for every two buildings, and the water connections are behind the meter, so if the meter malfunctions, then an estimation will be made for one building, so the value of water used in the second building will not be calculated. The sources said that calculated estimates of the total value of the bills for this citizen's real estate reached KD 1.2 million.

Drug user arrested

A woman was arrested while under the influence of drugs and had two envelops of shabu (methamphetamine), syringes and paraphernalia, and she was sent along with the drugs to Drugs Control General Department. The woman was arrested in Mangaf area.
