KUWAIT: Ardhiya
and Industrial Shuwaikh fire stations responded to a call about a fire in a
vehicle in a mall's parking lot. Firefighters managed to put out the fire and
prevent the flames from spreading to other vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Separately,
Kuwait Municipality announced that the Mubarak Al-Kabeer emergency team made
several achievements during Dec 2018 as part of the campaign "Contact
Us", aiming at removing all encroachments on state property, street ads,
roaming vendors and other violations. It said inspections resulted in issuing
55 violations and removal of 350 ads of various sizes that were placed at
random in streets and squares.
