KUWAIT: Kuwait Civil Aviation’s Meteorologist Essa Ramadan expected a decrease in the effect of the Siberian high pressure in the upcoming days with continuation of cold weather at night until Thursday.

The light to moderate Northwesterly wind movement will continue until today and will be active on Wednesday evening and Thursday, while the temperatures will rise back to normal rate during the weekend, Ramadan said. During the past few days, Kuwait witnessed a severe cold front, where temperatures recorded below zero for three days. The lowest was three degrees below zero in the border area of Al-Salmi and some of the western areas in the country. — KUNA
