KUWAIT: Criminal detectives were able to determine the identity of a woman who was found dead in Jaber Al-Ahmad, and determined the cause of death was a drug overdose. Fingerprints of the woman were taken and she was identified. Investigations showed the woman was with a bedoon man named Nasser Ali. The man was arrested and confessed to dumping the body in Jaber Al-Ahmad after the woman died of a heroin overdose. He was sent to concerned authorities.

The body of the victim, who was identified as a Palestinian woman born in 1980, was found outside a building under construction in Jaber Al-Ahmad Monday wrapped in a blue sheet. Construction workers who went to a building they were working and found something wrapped up, and discovered that it was a dead body. Police found her residency permit had expired, and owed KD 50,000 to an investment company. The body was recovered by the coroner.

Suicide

Meanwhile, the Relations and Security Information Department said preliminary information about the death of a citizen in his office indicated that he committed suicide. The forensics report said blood was scattered on the deceased's clothes from top to bottom without signs of violence or resistance, in addition to the weapon's position.

Earlier reports had indicated that an ex-convict suffering from depression killed himself in his Mubarakiya office. Police received a call about the incident, and when they went to the scene, they found a bloodied man with a shotgun next to him. A security source said the deceased was born in 1956, and was convicted for various cases including possession of unlicensed firearms, and suffered from depression. Several new shotguns were found in his office.
