KUWAIT: Weapons detectives launched an expanded search campaign in Kabd farms yesterday morning. The department formed a team to collect the weapons in several stages.

Violators arrested

Residency affairs detectives arrested seven women and a man, all Asian nationals, in violation of the residency law. They were all found wanted on security grounds and reported absconding. They were sent to concerned authorities.

Youth suicide

A young Egyptian man committed suicide by throwing himself from the sixth floor of a Nugra building, under mysterious circumstances. The man was found on the ground with blood on his head. A Jordanian man told police that he jumped from the sixth floor.

Road accidents

A multiple vehicle collision took place on Fahaheel Road, and several persons were trapped. Four vehicles were involved, and firemen used heavy equipment to cut the vehicles and free the trapped people, who were taken to hospital.

Municipality statistics

A Kuwait Municipality statistics report about the achievements of public cleanliness, road occupancy and the roaming vendors team of Farwaniya municipality branch during the second half of October showed that 104 warnings were issued, 116 undertakings were collected, 847 stickers were removed, 204 abandoned cars were impounded, 69 were released, KD 3,894 was collected, 21 road occupancy citations were issued and 103 tickets were issued to violating vendors.
