KUWAIT: HH The Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will start Wednesday evening with the official training on the 10 meter air pistol and rifle, while competitions in all disciplines will continue until Saturday.

Kuwait Shooting Sport Club Assistant Secretary Eng Mohammad Misfer Al-Ghurba said board members and shooters express their gratitude and appreciation for HH the Crown Prince care of the shooting sport, which had made many achievements will be maintained and added on because of his support.

Head of the shotgun referees committee Hamad Al-Ruwaisan said competitions will start as scheduled and preparations, meetings and refresher courses for the tournament that declares the local season open. He said the tournament normally witness strong competitions between shooters at all levels.

Meanwhile head of the pistols and rifles referees committee Abdallah Barakat said it is important to prepare early for the tournament to be informed with the latest changes in the international law. The competitions will include the 10 meter pistol and rifle for men and women, 50m rifle (3 positions) for men, 50m pistol for men.

Barakat thanked the Board of Directors for providing all that is necessary for referees to carry their duties as required.
