KUWAIT: His
Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed
yesterday gratitude and appreciation to citizens and residents of Kuwait who
congratulated His Highness on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. His Highness also
praised efforts exerted by all ministries and concerned authorities in the
country for facilitating festivities that were associated with this occasion,
asking Allah Almighty to protect Kuwait and to remain an oasis of peace and
prosperity under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah
Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the humanitarian leader.

His Highness the
Amir Sheikh had the performed the Eid Al-Fitr prayer at the Grand Mosque early
on Tuesday. His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad,
National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem and His Highness the Prime
Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, as well as other senior state
