Haja Ishata Thomas

Sierra Leone’s Ambassador

In observance of the celebrations marking the 63rd National Day and 33rd Liberation Day of Kuwait on 25th and 26th February 2024, respectively, let me on behalf of the president of Sierra Leone Dr. Julius Maada Bio, the government and people of Sierra Leone and on my own personal behalf, convey to the Amir His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the government and people of Kuwait, warmest felicitations, on the historic and momentous occasions.

On this remarkable occasion, I wish to also seize the opportunity to congratulate Kuwait on its massive nationwide infrastructure development, including putting sound micro-economic measures; amidst the global economic meltdown as well as security measures in response to the numerous security challenges, particularly in the Middle East and the wider world.

Accordingly, Kuwait has been an embodiment of peace, stability, and economic growth within the GCC countries. It is my fervent hope that the friendly relations between our two sisterly countries will continue to further strengthen for the mutual benefit of our two peoples and countries. I pray that Allah continue to bestow peace and security, love and prosperity upon Kuwait.
