KUWAIT: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah meets with commander of the US Central Command General Joseph L Votel. —KUNA

KUWAIT: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al- Jarrah Al-Sabah met with commander of the US Central Command General Joseph L Votel yesterday.

A statement by Ministry of Defense noted Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah has received General Joseph and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his visit to the country, where they stressed the depth of ties between both nations, as they seek to enhance and develop it.

The meeting was attended by Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khudher, Deputy Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Abdullah Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah and other ranking military officers. —KUNA
