Dependent visa transfers eased

KUWAIT: Well-informed security sources said the interior ministry's residency affairs department has given the manpower authority the green light to immediately transfer expats' dependent residencies to work visas without checking with it. The sources explained that the new decision will help accelerate procedures by allowing transfers from article 22 to article 18 for expats reaching the age of 21, which will save the time that used to be wasted to complete the procedure.
