KUWAIT: His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace yesterday Central Bank of Kuwait Governor Dr Mohammad Al-Hashel who presented a copy of the bank's 48th annual report for the fiscal year 2019-2020. Sheikh Dr Hashel also presented a copy of the report to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah in a separate meeting at Seif Palace yesterday.

Meanwhile, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince received His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, while His Highness the Prime Minister received Chairman of Kuwait's Supreme Judicial Council and the Cassation Court and President of the Constitutional Court Yousef Al-Mutawaa.

In other news, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to Tunisian President Qais Saeed on Sunday. In the cable, His Highness the Deputy Amir strongly denounced the terrorist attack that targeted a security patrol in the city of Sousse, east of Tunis, which resulted in the death of a security man and the injury of another.

His Highness affirmed Kuwait's position rejecting these heinous terrorist acts that target the lives of innocent people and destabilize security and stability in the brotherly country. His Highness expressed condolences to the Tunisian President and to the victim's family, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable of condolences. - KUNA
