KUWAIT: Interior Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary Maj Gen Khaled Al-Dayeen visits the injured detective in hospital.

KUWAIT: A detective suffered severe injuries including a dislocated hand and scalp wounds when a fugitive he tried to arrest released two dogs at him. The incident happened on Friday when the detective raided the suspect's farm with a warrant in hand, only to be attacked by the dogs, allowing the suspect to escape. The officer was taken to hospital, while investigations are underway in search for the runaway suspect.

Meanwhile, Interior Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary Maj Gen Khaled Al-Dayeen visited the injured detective in hospital yesterday. He told the victim that Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Anas Al-Saleh and ministry Undersecretary Lt Gen Essam Al-Naham are following up on his condition, the ministry said in a statement released to the press.
